IRKED first made their mark at The White Hotel in Salford, turning a damp, unforgiving warehouse into their own. It’s that same live intensity that drives The Grievance—a record shaped by packed rooms, repeat tours, and a reputation built the hard way. Early releases quickly disappeared, backed by a BBC 6Music session for Marc Riley and Gideon Coe. Along the way they’ve shared stages with Uranium Club, Part Chimp, Benefits, Hey Colossus and Swami John Reis, and appeared at festivals including Manchester Punk Festival and Wrong Speed Fest. The Grievance captures that momentum: fast, direct and loaded with purpose. There’s humour and bite in equal measure, with hooks that land as hard as the message. Like the best punk, it entertains while pushing back—music rooted in community, frustration and the urge to do something about it. This is IRKED at full tilt: raw, catchy and impossible to ignore.
