The band stretch their familiar sound into richer territory, blending intricate guitars, atmospheric textures and shifting rhythms. Man Overboard highlights Lamos’ jazz-inflected drumming alongside the Kinsellas’ vulnerable songwriting and Holmes’ signature guitar lines, while Blood On My Blood and the sprawling Bad Moons push the band into more intense emotional territory. Guest appearances from Brendan Yates, Wisp and Caithlin De Marrais add further depth to a record that broadens American Football’s sonic palette.
