The Metatrons are a Hertfordshire riot-pop band known for their fuzzy guitars, punchy hooks and high-energy live shows. Their 2020 album Deconstruction drew praise from across the indie press, with Vive Le Rock calling it “bursting with bright, breezy driving rhythms”. Since then, the band have shared stages with artists including Altered Images, Shonen Knife, Echobelly, The Primitives, The Darling Buds and The Lovely Eggs, alongside a packed run of festival appearances and touring across the UK. Following 2024’s Lumination, The Metatrons return with their fifth album, The Ever-Present Now, continuing their mix of melodic indie-pop, driving rhythms and fuzzed-out energy.
