Co-produced by Lu alongside Jack Antonoff and Yves Rothman, and mixed by Oli Jacobs, the record builds on the expansive vision introduced on her debut Blood. Across the album, Lu blends distorted guitars, choral swells and shadowy electronic rhythms, moving between devotional intensity and widescreen atmosphere. Contributions from Sampha, Kamasi Washington and Kim Gordon further enrich the record’s layered sound world.
So Help Me God continues Lu’s multidisciplinary approach, where music, visual art and performance intersect, expanding the distinctive creative universe she has steadily been building.
