The Baby Seals’ Live ... was recorded at The Portland Arms in Cambridge when the band supported punk legend from USA, Lydia Lunch, known for her razor sharp, riotous shows. Live ... features the studio version of Irene - a track that demonstrates the band’s organic growth into a moodier garage-punk band, and a taste of what’s to come from their 2027 sophomore album slated for next Spring. Their engineer Joe Nicholson knows exactly how The Baby Seals want the sound, and worked his magic on the recordings to create a raucous live album.
