Eels take a characteristically wry and thoughtful approach on their 16th album, Cookie Happened. Inspired by a quote from Cookie Monster, songwriter Mark Oliver Everett (E) considers the temporary nature of joy, struggle and achievement, finding comfort in the simple fact that experiences matter because they happened. Balancing humour with existential reflection, the album explores impermanence while celebrating the beauty found in life's passing moments. Available on CD and neon green coloured vinyl LP.
