The Seeds of Love was Tears for Fears' third album. Originally released in 1989, it saw Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, along with their collaborators, go for an epic, Beatles-esque production with the single Sowing the Seeds of Love, whilst also mining soul and jazz influences. Another single, Woman In Chains, featured the then-unknown Oleta Adams, who went on to have a successful solo career. Also includes the singles Advice for the Young at Heart and Badman’s Song.
