Galvanized by seismic changes in the ever-evolving social and political landscape, Grammy Award-winning drummer, producer, activist and educator Terri Lyne Carrington formed her new band, Social Science, to confront a wide spectrum of social justice issues. The band’s stunning debut double album, I, immediately takes its place alongside Carrington’s most ambitious and inventive projects, expressing an inclusive and compassionate view of humanity’s common bonds through an eclectic program melding jazz, R&B, classic and indie rock, free improvisation, hip-hop and contemporary classical music.

the album hits many significant political themes, deeply relevant in our current turbulent political climate, offering leverage for press, content / social media, and associations with advocacy groups. Carrington joins forces with her new band Social Science comprised of a new generation of respected contemporary jazz artists - rapper / DJ Kassa Overall, pianist Aaron Parks, guitarist Matt Stevens, vocalist Debo Ray, and multi-instrumentalist Morgan Guerin

Waiting Game has a contemporary sound which melds jazz with R&B, hip-hop, and rock. Notable featured artists: Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Rapsody, Meshell Ndegeocello and Maimona Youssef.
