To mark the 30th anniversary of their landmark debut Do You Want More?!!!??!, The Roots returned to the stage for a three-day, six-show residency at New York’s legendary Blue Note Jazz Club in March 2025. Revisiting the record that first defined their sound, the group performed it in full — including songs not heard live in decades — joined by long-time collaborators Ursula Rucker, Dice Raw and Rahzel, the Godfather of Noise. Mixed and mastered by ?uestlove alongside Glen Forrest and Colin Mohnacs, the recording captures the group’s dynamic interplay and genre-blurring creativity, three decades on from a debut that reshaped live hip-hop.
