Party Dozen are Sydney duo Kirsty Tickle and Jonathan Boulet, whose saxophone, drums, vocals and loops collide on fifth album 21 Bum Salute. Emerging from Sydney’s experimental noise-rock scene in 2017, they’ve spent four albums twisting psych-rock, pop noise and doom into increasingly unruly forms. Along the way they’ve toured with Amyl and the Sniffers, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Tropical Fuck Storm and Algiers, collaborated with billy woods and enlisted Nick Cave for 2022 single Macca The Mutt. Here, they sound determined to follow their own peculiar instincts.
