Bright Eyes released two albums on the same day back in 2005. Those were Digital Ash in a Digital Urn and this one . I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning hears the Conor Oberst-led indie folk group play very much in the vein of Elliott Smith's introspective songwriting, dipping into to folk and shades of indie rock without committing to either style. Often considered as their masterpiece,  I'm Wide Awake... won the hearts of many a listener and swiftly turned them into devout fans.
