Silversun Pickups return with Tenterhooks - a ten-track album shaped by uncertainty and the restless energy that comes with it. Rather than expanding outwards, the band chose focus and concision: ten songs, each cut to the bone, each driven by a sharpened instinct. Vocalist Brian Aubert notes that the writing and recording took place during another period of global shift, and that the instinctive question - “What are we headed towards?” - permeated the work even when not explicitly written into lyrics.
