New Order’s The Best Of New Order, originally released in 1994, collects key singles from the band’s run from 1985 onwards, bringing together 7" mixes of some of their best-known tracks alongside four exclusive 1994 remixes. Released a year later, companion album The Rest Of New Order expanded the picture with a set of remixes led by Hardfloor’s rework of Blue Monday-95. Between them, the two albums reached the UK Top 5 and captured a remarkable run of songs including True Faith, Bizarre Love Triangle, Blue Monday 88, Regret and World in Motion — a concise reminder of the group’s lasting impact on electronic and alternative music.
