Mogwai's debut album Young Team is considered one of the high watermarks of the post-rock subgenre, a 1990s classic, and one of the group's finest long-players. Released in 1997 to acclaim, the record spans many a mood and texture. From the atmospheric twinkling of Yes! I Am a Long Way From Home to the crushing heaviness of Like Herod and Mogwai Fear Satan, Young Team plunges you into Mogwai's suspenseful world from the offset.
