Meryl Streek's Stories They Don’t Teach You At School is a politically charged album that transforms lived experience into a form of alternative education. Blending post-punk, electronica, spoken word and sampled audio, the Dublin artist examines inequality, media manipulation, housing and political accountability through a series of uncompromising narratives. Recorded between a garden shed and Dublin's Darkland Studios, the album pairs driving rhythms and abrasive electronics with moments of melody and reflection. Tracks including Rotten Fruit, Council Estates and The Chancer focus on stories often overlooked, giving voice to those affected by social and economic injustice. Available on pink coloured vinyl LP
