12 Bar Bruise is the debut studio album from Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, originally released on 7 September 2012. Following the Willoughby’s Beach EP, it captures the band pushing further into their DIY garage rock sound with plenty of raw charm and restless energy. A great early snapshot of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard as their singular world starts taking shape.
