Johnny Marr’s The Age Of Everything is his fifth solo studio album, written in London, developed on tour across North America’s East Coast and recorded in Manchester. Reflecting the pace and contradictions of modern life, the record channels the energy of the city into a set of urgent, melodic songs driven by Marr’s unmistakable guitar work. Inspired by the sense of overload created by technology and constant connectivity, The Age Of Everything examines both the pressures and opportunities of contemporary culture. Rather than offering a bleak outlook, Marr finds room for optimism, curiosity and forward motion, creating an album that feels both immediate and open-ended. Available on CD and red coloured vinyl LP.
