Two Door Cinema Club celebrate the 15th anniversary of their acclaimed debut Tourist History with new vinyl editions via PIAS Recordings, marking the first time the album’s tracks have been pressed to wax. Originally released in 2010, Tourist History reached number one on the Irish charts, earned a place on the BBC Sound of 2010 Poll, and went on to become a global success. Its runaway hit What You Know has since surpassed one billion Spotify streams, cementing the record’s enduring legacy as a landmark indie debut. Formed in Bangor, Northern Ireland, Two Door Cinema Club - Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday, and Kevin Baird - began writing together in Trimble’s parents’ garage. Skipping university to focus on music, the trio self-released their 2009 EP Four Words to Stand On, generating early online buzz with Something Good Can Work and setting the stage for their meteoric rise.
