Tokyo Tea Room craft dreamy, groove-led indie-pop steeped in longing, reflection and understated emotion. Formed in Margate, the band balance hazy melodies with introspective songwriting, creating songs that feel both intimate and expansive. Their debut album No Rush marked them out as one of the UK's most exciting emerging alternative acts, helping build a rapidly growing international audience. With millions of monthly listeners and a sold-out debut North American tour behind them, their profile continues to rise, particularly in the US. Now preparing new material, Tokyo Tea Room are pushing their sound forward while holding onto the emotional honesty at the heart of their music.
