Thievery Corporation's Radio Retaliation brought together the duo's trademark fusion of downtempo, dub, electronica and world music influences on a record shaped by themes of social awareness and global connection. Featuring contributions from Femi Kuti, Seu Jorge, Anouska Shankar, Sleepy Wonder, LouLou and others, the album moves between laid-back grooves, politically charged rhythms and richly layered production. Originally released in 2008, Radio Retaliation includes the singles Sweet Tides, (The Forgotten People) and Sound The Alarm, showcasing the breadth of the group's sound and their collaborative approach. This edition also adds the bonus track Philosopher's Stone.
