The Beatles' final European tour encompassed 15 concerts, starting off in Paris on the 20th June 1965. They played two shows in the capital that day, at 3pm and 9pm, each watched by 6,000 people. They stuck to the set they had played throughout the tour, comprising 12 songs, several of which were new. The performance at the Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich on the 24th June 1966, broadcast on German TV station network ZDF, was one of their last live performances as the band had decided to stop touring and to turn their attention to recording in the studio, a decision which was to lead to the release of Sergeant Pepper the following year. This unique collection captures a hard working, but tour weary band who went on to change the face of popular music forever, comprising of 19 tracks recorded at the Paris and Munich concerts.
