German synth-pop Propaganda band formed in Düsseldorf in 1982. They signed with ZTT Records in 1983 and released their first single "Dr Mabuse" in 1984. This was followed by their debut studio album A Secret Wish. Two of the album's singles, "Dr. Mabuse" and "Duel", were UK Top 30 hits. A Secret Wish, which was written by band members Michael Mertens and Ralf Dörper, received considerable critical acclaim reaching number 16 on the UK Albums Chart. This limited LP version has a new Atmos mix by David Kostin.
