Pizza Hotline follows his acclaimed 2022 album Level Select with Dream Select, a vivid fusion of nostalgic video game aesthetics and modern breakbeat. Written and produced in his North London studio using just a computer, a handful of ’90s outboard synths, and samplers, the record draws on the crystalline textures of PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, and N64-era sound design, inspired by titles such as Wipeout and Ape Escape. Built from obscure sample CDs, ROMplers, and digital synths of the period, Dream Select delivers dreamy, hypnotic, and emotionally charged tracks that feel like the soundtrack to a forgotten 2000s game. Minimal yet richly textured, the album balances precision and warmth, channelling retro-futurist energy into melodic, uplifting drum & bass.
