Riot on an Empty Street is the second album from Norwegian duo Kings of Convenience. Originally released June 21, 2004. It features two song collaborations “Know-How” and “The Build-Up” with Canadian musician Feist.

If Simon and Garfunkel were Norwegian and born thirty years later they probably would have sounded something like Kings of Convenience. Like the folk singers before them, Kings of Convenience are storytellers with the added benefit of melodic inspiration. Riot on an Empty Street is a fine record - wittier, more ambitious, with stronger production values and better arrangements. If you loved the first album, you'll love this even more.
