King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard take a turn towards electronic dance music on Alien Metal, their 28th studio album. Growing out of the band’s 2025 rave shows, the record was built largely with Eurorack modular synthesizers, pushing their restless experimentation towards darker, club-focused territory.
