In 2010, José González, the fella who scored a hit with an acoustic cover of The Knife's eternal classic Heartbeats, Elias Araya and organist Tobias Winterkorn came together as Junip for an outing of indie and psychedelic folk tunes on debut album Fields. With influences ranging from Neu!, Shuggie Otis, and John Martyn, Fields expands on González's nylon guitar fingerpicking with analogue synths and live percussion. One for hazy summer nights and autumn days.
