Ife Ogunjobi is a Grammy award winning London based trumpet player, composer, and producer of Nigerian origin. His music reflects the richness of culture and sound that has shaped his career. Growing up in south-east London, he is influenced by afrobeat, fuji and jazz forging a style that blurs the separation between genres and mixes heritage and modernity. His versatility has led him to collaborate in the studio and on tour with an impressive list of international artists including Wizkid, Burna Boy & Dave to name a few. On stage, he impresses with acclaimed performances at iconic venues and festivals such as Madison Square Garden, Accor Arena, Couleur Cafe Festival, We Out Here, Glastonbury and the Montreux Jazz Festival. As a key member of Ezra Collective, winner of the prestigious Mercury Prize in 2023 and Group of the Year at the Brit Awards 2025, Ife is a major figure in the new British jazz and underground scene. After his first solo EP, Stay True, released in 2023 and acclaimed by BBC Radio 6, Jazz Fm and Gilles Peterson, Ife Ogunjobi returns this autumn with a second 5-track EP: Tell Them I'm Here. This EP is a powerful, personal musical statement. It explores a unique sound, combining the influences of Nigerian Fuji and Afrobeat with London jazz and urban sounds.
