Glen Hansard continues the Don’t Settle series with Don’t Settle – Transmissions West, a live studio album recorded over two nights at Berlin’s legendary Funkhaus studios. Captured in the venue’s vast orchestral live room with 600 fans surrounding the performance each night, the album presents songs in their most direct form — no overdubs, no autotune, no second takes. Rather than a straightforward retrospective, Transmissions West draws on the breadth of Glen’s catalogue while focusing on the energy and spontaneity of live performance. Recorded and filmed in front of an audience, it documents a pivotal moment in his career, accompanied by a feature-length film and behind-the-scenes documentary. The release also arrives alongside a major UK and European tour, including a show at London’s Roundhouse.
