2020 marks 15 years of Hassle Records.They reissue 15 records from varying parts of their history and catalogue, all as limited vinyl-only releases.
Unpolished and raw punk attitude underpin the sound on this collection of songs, the debut solo release from Frank Iero (of My Chemical Romance fame). Having missed out on signing My Chem by a whisker around the release of the I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love album in 2002 (Hassle took the band out for egg and chips and the majors offered seven figure numbers...), it was such a thrill for the label to finally be working directly with Frank. Such a gentleman. Anyone that has listened to this album can hear where certain sounds and song structures that MCR employ come from. Excellent work.
