False Lefty work with almost nothing and make it count: two people, three drums, three guitar strings, no excess. Veva’s drumming and Tom’s skeletal guitar lines lock into a sound that’s lean, physical and direct, built on momentum rather than layers. Time Will Tell sets out a clear statement of intent. The songs balance brittle melodies with raw force, shifting between restraint and release without losing focus. There’s space in the arrangements, but also pressure — rhythms that hit hard, guitar parts that cut sharply, and hooks that linger without softening the edges.
