EERA’s third album I’ll Stop When I’m Done draws from classic cinema, female icons, and personal reflection to examine womanhood in all its complexity. Taking its title from a Marilyn Monroe quote, "I won’t stop when I’m tired, I’ll stop when I’m done", the record was born from a research-led process that saw the Norwegian artist delve into the lives of stars like Monroe and Shirley Maclaine, finding unexpected kinship and self-recognition in their stories, the album serving as a celebration of the female experience. For EERA, the recording process was a personal experience, with each song sung softly from a sofa to create a relaxed atmosphere. This approach reflects the artist's belief that women often have to be brave and loud to be heard, creating a poignant contrast on the album.
