Chat Pile and guitarist-composer Hayden Pedigo unite on In The Earth Again, a collaboration that began as a split release and grew into a fully realised thirty-six-minute album. Instead of blending their styles by compromise, the five musicians operate as a single unit, shaping a work that transcends their individual approaches. Pedigo’s stark, widescreen guitar merges with Chat Pile’s corroded noise rock to create a sound both intimate and vast, capturing the strange beauty and creeping decay of the rural Midwest.
