The second EP from Brian Jackson and Masters At Work’s Now More Than Ever project gathers the extended versions and deeper cuts that couldn’t be contained on the full-length release. Across seven tracks, the duo revisit key moments from Jackson’s catalogue while opening them up for club soundsystems and modern soul floors. Highlights include the MAW Live Mix of Moonshine, featuring former Midnight Band/Amnesia Express saxophonist Carl Cornwell, a jazz-charged 12" take on Home Is Where the Hatred Is, and a sweeping version of Lady Day and John Coltrane with vocals from Rahsaan Patterson. There’s also a major reworking of Racetrack in France - first recorded by Jackson and Gil Scott-Heron for Bridges - with contributions from Josh Milan, J. Ivy and Moodymann, plus an instrumental version. Alongside the title track Now More Than Ever and an additional session-born composition, this EP captures the spontaneity and musical depth of the project - honouring a vital legacy while pushing it forward. Available on double 12” vinyl.
