Björk’s spectacular live show Cornucopia - originally conceived for a global stage and later released in cinemas - now arrives on physical formats for the first time. Directed by Ísold Uggadóttir, Cornucopia is a bold convergence of nature, technology and music, showcasing Björk’s distinct creative vision across performance, production and arrangement. Co-directed visually by long-time collaborator James Merry, the production also features work from Andrew Thomas Huang, Gabríela Friðriksdóttir, Pierre-Alain Giraud, Nick Knight, Tobias Gremmler, and Warren Du Preez & Nick Thornton-Jones, whose visuals seamlessly complement the show’s avant-garde sound design. Behind the scenes, Sara Nassim and Kat Mansoor serve as producers, with Bergur Þórisson as musical director and re-recording mixer. The film’s striking cinematography comes from Artur Tort, with editing by Walter Mauriot. Speaking about the film, Björk said: “This has been a long journey with hundreds of people helping. I feel the modern concert film is a matriarchally friendly construct—where female musicians can share their worlds uncorrupted.”
