Xavier Jamaux is part of the Versailles pop scene which saw the birth of Air, with whom, moreover, he formed the group Orange in the early 90's. He then created with Marc Collin (Nouvelle Vague) the chic pop project Ollano, on which sings the actress and singer Hélena Noguerra. He also collaborates within his bangbang project with regular guests such as Jay Jay Johanson, Garry Christian (The Christians), Casey Spooner (Fischerspooner), and many others. For the past twenty years, he has also pursued a career as a composer for the cinema (original music for the films of Jean Pierre Limosin, Alexandre Arcady, Johnnie To, Thomas Vinterberg, Michael Haneke...) and has been nominated several times in prestigious film festivals in Asia (best film soundtrack at the Asian Film Awards (Hong Kong) and Golden Horse Festival (Taiwan)). This new LP features 23 cinematic tracks for films by Johnnie To, Soi Cheang, Thomas Vinterberg, JP Limosin and more.
