Witchsorrow mark their twentieth year with The Devil And All His Works, their fifth album and first since Hexenhammer. Rooted in the traditions of Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus and Electric Wizard, the Hampshire trio deliver eight tracks of towering riffs, occult themes and classic doom metal weight. Highlights include the organ-led Omnia Finiuntur, the decadent Bacchus, Hades Chains featuring Serena Cherry, and A Quintessence Of Dust with a guest lead from Sammy Urwin. Inspired by the writings of Dennis Wheatley, the album explores temptation, excess and darkness in all its forms.
