Slotface release their second album. Following the success of their 2017 debut, Spellemann (Norwegian Grammy) winning album Try Not To Freak Out, 2019 brought comeback single ‘Telepathetic’, break-up anthem ‘Stuff’, pensive and powerful ‘Sink Or Swim’, and the raucous ‘S.U.C.C.E.S.S.’, all of which feature on this new LP. On first listen, the punk-fuelled banger that is ‘S.U.C.C.E.S.S.’ appears as a fierce motivational anthem, but lyrically the track exposes the deeper theme that “some times as a woman, or as someone who’s parents immigrated to a country you just feel like you have to be better than everyone else to be good enough, because you have more to prove” explains frontwoman Haley.
