Released in 2016, John Carpenter’s Lost Themes II expanded his work beyond film scores, combining ominous synths, electric and acoustic guitars and his unmistakable knack for suspense. Created without the demands of a screen, its imagined worlds stand firmly on their own, pushing Carpenter’s music into darker and more expansive territory. This tenth-anniversary edition features newly commissioned artwork by Randy Ortiz alongside the previously scarce track Real Xeno.
