Ecca Vandal made LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW by shutting out the noise. Over two years, the band stepped away from the pressure of algorithms, timelines and constant visibility, building a small studio in Richie’s childhood bedroom and refocusing on music as something physical, personal and fully immersive. Created by hand in a deliberately stripped-back environment, the album embraces imperfection and instinct over metrics and momentum. What emerged is a record centred on connection, creativity and the idea of the album as a complete body of work rather than a stream of disposable singles. For Ecca Vandal, the process became a way of rediscovering why they started making music in the first place — chasing something honest, immediate and close to the heart.
